   A little about ourselves: We are a small scale Boer goat breeder located in the Eastern Plains in Calhan, Colorado, about 25 miles East of Colorado Springs.
We started out with one goat three years ago and this little goat started it all. Our first venture was into milking goats but soon we realized we love Boer goats.We  got serious about this endeavor last year. Even though we had Boer goats and Boer goat crosses and had a few kidding seasons behind us we soon realized what we were striving for.
   Our daughter is in 4-H and we realized we wanted well socialized market weathers which is not always easy to come by. At the same time we want structurally correct and feminine looking breeding does.
We usually start out with very young does, so we can raise them and make sure they are not passed down from person to person which eliminates a big chance of disease. Yes, this takes more time but it also makes handling these goats easier. Our ultimate goal is to produce well socialized, long bodied, muscular show wethers for 4-H and breeding stock for show and commercial use.
